How fast did April come and go? Seems as if the whole month passed in the blink of an eye. Perhaps it was because of the Easter vacations, I really don’t know. It sure feels like yesterday though. Anyways, I did manage to try out some new cosmetics. Here’s my review of them:
Tecnoskin Derma Age Pro
Like I’ve said before, it’s never too early to start an anti-aging skincare programme. It’s a good idea to protect your skin starting in your 30s, while it’s an absolute necessity in your 40s. This month I tested the anti-aging skincare by Tecnoskin Derma.
Firstly, I tried the Antioxidant Sensitive Cleansing Gel which is good for all skin types, even the most sensitive. It’s more than a cleanser as it removes all kinds of makeup, included waterproof mascara. In addition, it releases moisture in the skin during the whole day and protects it from city and smoke pollution.
As regards the face cream, this month I tested the MYOLIFT® PLATINUM Face Cream which is good primarily for ages 50+. It is rich in hyaluronic acid and collagen, thus restoring the skin’s lost volume while micro-lifting the skin. In other words, this face cream lifts the skin and makes your face brighter and healthier.
Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins Night Cream
My favourite night cream for years now. Admittedly, now that I’m in my 40s I do need a night cream with a bit more “oomph” in the anti-aging department, but I still purchase this one occasionally. I just love its texture and, most of all, its gorgeous fragrance! It simply smells devine.
REN Instant Firming Beauty Shot
Oh wow that was a big (and pleasant) surprise! My first REN Skincare product and I was actually taken aback at first, as its firming abilities are quite strong. I literally felt my skin “pull” when I first applied it. But I quickly got used to the sensation and the results were quite impressive after just a few days. Highly recommended.
Apivita Moisturizing Holistic Hair Care
Apivita is one of my most loved skincare brands, but for some reason I had only used its face products until now. This month I was gifted a cosmetics bag with an assortment of haircare products and I took the opportunity to give them a go!
The Moisturizing Holistic Hair Care series contains the almost magical ingredient hyaluronic acid and helps protect and restore hair’s moisture. I just love hyaluronic acid, it works miracles! As I mentioned in March’s Beauty Lust List, I also take it as a daily supplement, to work its magic from within.
It’s worth noting here that Moisturizing Holistic Hair Care series by Apivita contains hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, which is miles more effective than your usual kind in moisturizing the skin and hair. You’ll find shampoos, conditioners and hair masks in this series. All made of 97% natural ingredients!
So these are my favourites of April. What do you think of them? Any products you loved this month? Let me know in the comments below!
