The 5 best beauty products for spring I actually tested

The 5 best beauty products for spring I actually tested

Spring is typically a time of renewal. It’s a time to refresh our home decor, our wardrobe and of course, our daily beauty routine. When the days grow longer (and warmer), the first thing to change in my daily beauty routine to add SPF. As my skin is quite fair and sensitive, I have to use a day cream with some SPF all year long. But come April, it’s time to get serious. So I replace my regular winter day cream with a one with at least 30 SPF. This will eventually get replaced with a 50 SPF total sunscreen from mid-June to mid-September. That’s the downside of having Russian genes and yet living in the Mediterranean!

Caudalie Vinoperfect Essence & Serum – Caudalie Vine [Activ] Eye Cream

These are my current favourite products:

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser is my all-time favourite cleansing gel. I like it because it cleanses the skin perfectly without drying it. Which is a rather difficult thing to achieve with sensitive skins!

Caudalie Vinoperfect Essence is an amazing product inspired by the Asian skincare routine. It has a lightweight and refined formula that is both gentle and effective, leaving skin feeling smoothed, plumped and illuminated.

It contains Glycolic Acid to eliminate dead skin cells, whilst extracts from White Peony revitalise the skin to reveal a more even, healthy-glow. In addition, it is enriched with Caudalie’s signature grape water.  Consequently, the Vinoperfect Concentrated Brightening Essence contains hydrating, soothing and moisturising properties for a beautifully flawless complexion. I use it daily, after thoroughly cleansing my skin.

As regards the serum, lately I’ve been using Caudalie Radiance Serum. It works primarily to correct correct dark spots and prevents them from appearing in the first place. Moreover, it evens out skin tone and enhances the complexion’s radiance.

For my eyes, I prefer Caudalie Vine [Activ] Energizing and Smoothing Eye Cream. It is very gentle, and has soothing qualities that visibly reduce dark circles. By the way, it smooths both the eye and lip contours!

Finally, my main moisturizer in spring is Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF 30. I like it because it comes in a variety of shades and it has a nice coverage, even though it is very lightweight. Perfect for warmer days!
